Spray Can

Two buttons, two jobs. LMB sprays tags on walls, rocks or a neighbour's door; RMB reskins items, and that second job is why most people keep one in base.

Say you crafted ten large wood boxes in a hurry on wipe day and only later remembered you own a skin for them. Instead of picking each one up and crafting it again, point the can at the box, right-click and choose. The same works on a garage door and plenty of other deployables. You can only apply skins your Steam account owns, so the can doesn't unlock anything new.

Tags are pure fun: marking a raided base, signing the wall of your shop, leaving an arrow for your team. For art that should stay put, a large wooden sign you can paint on works better.

It costs 100 metal fragments and no bench, and every player knows it from the start. Each use wears it down, so carry a spare if you're about to redo a whole base.
