Lunar New Year Spear

Fight with it the way you would with any spear: long pokes that keep animals and fresh spawns at arm's length. The festive paint is the obvious difference, and the game's own text calls it a metal spear, though you never need metal to make one.

There is no blueprint to chase. It is a skin of the wooden spear: you craft that spear from wood with no workbench and pick the festive paint if the skin is yours. Say a teammate pulls one out of loot during the Lunar New Year. It teaches nothing at a research table, so just take it roaming.

How hard it hits next to a stone spear is less clear, so try both on a boar before you decide which one rides in your hotbar. A spare recycles back into wood and nothing else, so there is no reason to hoard extras.
