Characteristics
Overview
A pie made of beef, enriched with cream. Increases the maximum amount of food that can be eaten, up to double the normal amount. High calorie consumption increases chance of recovering from injuries.
A bigger fuel tank for your stomach is what you are buying. The plain beef pie raises how much food you can hold, and the cream version says up to double the normal amount. The line about high calories helping you recover from injuries stays the same, so the more you pack in, the better your odds when you go down.
A doubled cap is useless empty, though. You need a stack of cooked beef or other heavy food on hand to fill it, and the best filler of all is cream, the very thing the pie costs you. That is the real question: cream baked into the pie, or cream eaten after it.
Where it shines is a long stint with no time for meals. Your neighbours start an online raid on your base, the fight will drag on, and nobody is walking to the fridge in the middle of it. Eat the pie at the first explosion, empty the fridge into yourself and take your position. Hunger stops mattering for the rest of the defence, and if you are downed alone in a corner, the calories give you a better shot at getting back up. For a quick monument run, the plain pie is enough.
