Overview

In-game description
A basic ore tea, provides hydration and temporarily increases your yield from harvesting ores a small amount.

Stone, metal and sulfur nodes all count. The game text promises a small, temporary increase in your yield from harvesting ores, so every swing at a node gives a little more than it would without the cup. It takes the edge off thirst on a long walk between rocks as well.

Early in a wipe the sums are simple. You have a stone pickaxe, a few berry bushes near the shack and a furnace that wants feeding. A cup before a loop around the hills turns the same session of mining into a slightly fatter stack of sulfur ore, and that stack is where your first gunpowder comes from.

You mix it at the Mixing Table from berries; the table's recipe list shows which colours it wants. Several basic cups make one Advanced Ore Tea, so keep those for heavier runs once your farm can spare the berries.

Watch out

Only ore you mine yourself gets the bonus. A quarry is not you swinging a pickaxe, so drinking before you empty one does nothing.
