Duct Tape

Loot only, and in the current data it goes into nothing at all. Rolls you find are recycler food for cloth and the odd tube of glue.

Overview

In-game description
A versatile adhesive tape reinforced with cloth.

Feed it to the recycler. That is the honest answer for a roll you loot, because nothing in the data uses duct tape as an ingredient. The recycler turns it back into a couple of cloth and, some of the time, a tube of glue.

Do not be fooled by the row. It lists a research table cost of 30 scrap and a Level 3 workbench recipe of five cloth and one glue, but the game files say duct tape cannot be crafted or researched at all. Every roll comes from loot or recycling, so there is no blueprint to chase and no scrap to waste on one.

Picture a late-wipe raid on a big base: the loot room has a box half full of tape, gears and pipes. Take the gears and pipes home to craft with and drop the tape into a recycler on the way. Should an update ever give it a job, the list of what it goes into will show up on this page.
