Overview
A salvaged piece of concrete and rebar which can be used to harvest wood
For the first hour of a wipe, when you have no bench yet and are tired of hitting trees with a rock. On paper it is the stone hatchet in another shape, so the comparison that matters is with the metal tool you craft next.
| Tool | Bench | Cost | Durability |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stone Hatchet | none | 100 stones, 200 wood | 100 |
| Concrete Hatchet | none | 100 stones, 200 wood | 100 |
| Hatchet | Level 1 | 75 frags, 100 wood | 400 |
With a rock in hand, 100 stones and 200 wood take a few minutes to gather, and both stone-age versions wear out fast. That wear is your cue to put down a bench and move up.
It has a matching Concrete Pickaxe. How you unlock the concrete pair is not in the data, so check your crafting menu before you plan around it.
