Cooked Beef

Eat it right after a Beef Pie. The pie raises how much food you can hold, and that extra room is only worth something if you fill it, so a few pieces of cooked beef straight after the pie turn a full stomach into an overfull one. A solo heading for a monument does exactly that before leaving the compound.

Where the beef itself comes from is less clear than with deer or bears. It is the meat of cattle, and other item texts in the game talk about livestock that graze and eat from a trough, so expect it from farm animals rather than from a stroll through the woods. Check how your server handles it before you plan around it.

Raw beef goes on any fire like other meat. The danger is the wait in between: left in a wooden box it slowly turns into spoiled beef, which hurts you instead of feeding you. Park it in a fridge until someone lights the grill, and cook only what the group will eat soon.
