Characteristics
Overview
An aiming system computer module for MLRS vehicles and satellite control terminals.
No module, no barrage. The MLRS, the rocket truck parked at a military monument, will not aim until someone slots this computer into it. With the module in and a load of MLRS rockets, you mark a spot on the map and the truck shells it from far away, which is how groups soften a compound full of turrets before they walk in. The game text also names satellite control terminals as a place it fits; the export says nothing more about those.
The row lists a Level 3 workbench recipe of 100 metal fragments and four tech trash, but the game files say the module cannot be crafted or researched at all. Every one comes from loot, so keep yours in the box with the raid gear.
Watch out
A volley gives your position away to anyone watching the sky. Bring people to hold the monument while you load and fire, and take the module with you when you leave.
The rockets are the real bottleneck. Their row lists 400 gun powder and eight metal pipes for two, yet the game files say they cannot be crafted either, so every rocket in a full load is one you looted. Recycling a spare module gives back a little tech trash and some fragments, which is rarely worth it.
Recycling
At power grid stage 2 a green recycler works at 60% instead of 50%. Yields depend on the recycler.
