Metal Detector

A cheap Level 1 blueprint held back by its two ropes. The HQM is a small amount; rope can't be crafted at all, so every coil comes from loot.

About this craft

Your bench isn't the limit here, the rope is. The detector is a cheap Level 1 blueprint, but no bench in the game crafts rope. The calculator can unfold it into cloth; read that as its value, because both coils come out of barrels, crates and recycled gear, and a fishing rod or a crossbow wants the same pair.

The rest is one furnace run: a little high quality metal and a pile of metal fragments. Rope is the line to stockpile, so every coil from a road run goes into one box.

Don't recycle a detector you're bored of to get the rope back. The recycler returns only one of the two, so park it in a box for the next quiet evening.
