About this craft
Every barricade is a rope that did not become a satchel. Rope can't be crafted at all, whatever the unfolded calculator shows with its cloth: barrels, crates and the recycler are the only sources, and early in a wipe each coil already has a few jobs waiting.
The wood comes off the first trees you hit, and the blueprint asks very little scrap and no bench. So take it in the first hour if wolves keep following you home, and craft only the ones you will actually place.
Tip
Once a Level 1 bench stands, the barbed version takes the same wood and rope plus a handful of frags, and it slows players too. And don't feed old barricades to the recycler for rope: it returns it only now and then.
