Sticks

Right now, not much. Sticks cannot be crafted or researched at all, so whatever recipe the page shows, the only ones you see come from loot or a trade. The tables list nothing that takes them as an ingredient either. They are filed among the components, but no recipe on the site is waiting for them.

So the recycler is their one real use. It turns a stick back into a little wood, half of the listed recipe or less, which is not much but beats a stack sitting in a box and taking a slot.

Say you just spawned on the beach with a rock, and a few sticks turn up in your loot. Do not carry them around for a recipe that does not exist. Your first few hundred wood belongs in a Tool Cupboard and the walls around it, and the sticks can go into the next recycler you pass. If an event or a later update gives them a real use again, this page will change.
