Snake Venom

All of its value sits in one recipe. A single dose and five wood at a Level 1 workbench make two incapacitate darts, the ones that slow a target and block their view for a moment. Nothing else on the crafting menu asks for venom, and you cannot craft the venom itself.

It comes off snakes. So when you kill one for its raw snake meat, harvest it to the end, because no bench will make the venom for you.

Say your duo opens fights with a blow pipe. Ten doses in a pocket turn into twenty darts, enough for a few roams. Do not expect the recycler to refill your stock, though: a dart hands back its venom only by chance, so keep spare darts in a box instead of breaking them down.
