Overview
A fragile glass jar full of bees. Breaking upon impact, the bees will find the nearest player to attack. Careful where you throw it!
Use it to make a spot unbearable. A player has dug in on a rock above a monument and peeks you every time you move; one jar on his position and the swarm is on him, so he either runs into the open or keeps eating stings. The bees go for whoever is nearest, not whoever you meant, so throw it well away from yourself and your team.
The jar breaks where it lands. You cannot bounce it around a corner like a frag, so aim for the floor next to the target rather than at a wall.
The expensive part is the beehive nucleus. It is the same thing you put in a beehive to raise bees for honeycomb, so every grenade takes a nucleus your hive could have kept working. The thirty cloth are easy, and recycling a spare grenade only sometimes gives the nucleus back.
Groups with a catapult pack two jars into a bee catapult bomb and lob whole swarms over a wall, which makes life miserable for anyone defending from a roof.
