Take advantage of the unique acoustics of the Jerry Can Guitar to play some rustic tunes.

Day one, the first metal ore smelted, and not a single hemp plant in sight. That is the one moment the jerry can version beats the acoustic guitar on cost: it wants 50 metal fragments and 25 wood, and no cloth at all. Neither needs a workbench, and research is 10 scrap here against 15 for the wooden one.

Later in a wipe the difference stops mattering. Both are cheap, both play music and nothing else, and a recycler gives back about half of either.

Access decides more than price. As far as we know, this guitar is part of the paid Instrument Pack, so a player without it simply will not see the recipe. The sound is tinny and rough, which some prefer for campfire blues.
