Overview
A blunt weapon made from a femur. All around basic gathering tool.
Most players craft one out of necessity. The stone hatchet snapped halfway up a tree, twenty bone fragments from the last boar are sitting in the inventory, and no bench is needed. So you make the club and keep going. It chips at wood, stone and carcasses alike, just slower than the tool built for each job.
As a weapon it is a blunt stick. Fine for finishing a chicken, poor against another fresh spawn holding a spear.
Once you have a minute, go back to rocks and wood. A stone hatchet and a stone pickaxe cost what you are already carrying, and each does its own job far better. If you have bones to spare, a bone knife gets more out of your next kill than the club ever will. There is nothing to research, since every player can craft it from the start, and nobody misses it when it breaks.
