Reactive Target

Wood, frags and one gear at a Level 1 bench. A cheap toy except for the gear, which a door wants more, so the target is the last thing it pays for.

About this craft

Nobody needs a shooting range on day one, and the recipe agrees. The wood and metal fragments are leftovers from any farm run, and the blueprint costs little scrap. The gear is the catch: until a Level 3 bench crafts them, gears come from crates and road barrels, and two of them hang a garage door.

So build it once the doors are up and a spare gear sits in the box. If you own the paintable target skin, the craft is this one and only the face changes.

Recycling a target is a bad deal. The frags and wood come back in part, the gear only on a lucky roll, and that gear was the one part worth having.
