Most inner tubes end up floating in a pool, so price the two together. An above ground pool plus a tube is one more tarp on top of the pool's own, and tarps come only from loot, recycling and trades. The metal fragments are spare change by the time anyone builds a pool.
Pick one float, not two. The boogie board has the identical bill and the same Level 1 bench, both are default blueprints with nothing to research, and the only difference is whether you sit or lie on the water. Crafting both to compare is a second tarp spent on a look.
Don't treat the recycler as an undo button either. It returns the fragments, but the tarp only on a lucky roll, so a tube you regret is usually a tarp gone.
