Price the scrubs per death, not per craft. With no bench and nothing to research, an owner can sew a fresh set the moment they respawn, and that is how kits quietly vanish. Every set left on a body is two sewing kits, and behind each kit stand three coils of rope from road loot, since no bench makes rope.
The cloth side is nothing: a short hemp run covers a set. Only Steam owners of the scrubs see the recipe at all.
Tip
Before Halloween, put two kits per planned outfit in their own box, apart from the armour kits. A hazmat suit wants the same pair, and that one keeps you alive at monuments.
