About this craft

Of everything on this bill, only the sewing kit can't be farmed. Metal fragments come out of any furnace and cloth out of a hemp patch, but a sewing kit needs a Level 3 bench to craft. So for most of the mid wipe, every can starts with a kit from a road barrel, a crate or recycled clothing.

  1. Learn the can as soon as the Level 2 workbench stands; the scrap is small.
  2. Put every looted kit in one box kept for helmets.
  3. Craft when there is a kit for each player, all at once, so nobody walks out bare-headed.

Don't recycle a worn can hoping for the kit: the ordinary recycler returns it only half the time. And once the Level 3 bench and the leather are in, the kits go to the metal facemask instead.
