About this craft

Day two, the Level 2 bench is up, and a road crate just gave you a single sheet metal. That is a pair of these. Unlike the road sign kilt, the pants want no sewing kits and no leather, and before Level 3 every kit you own came from loot. So for a group short on kits, this is the leg armour the bench can actually turn out.

The HQM is pocket change; the sheet is the whole question. It also feeds high walls and siege gear, and the pants are the most forgiving place to put it: you lose speed, not your sights. Leave the heavy plate jacket for later.

Watch out

Never recycle a pair for its sheet. The ordinary recycler only returns it on a coin flip, so a spare pair is worth more on a teammate's legs.
