Owning the Warhammer pack teaches you nothing at the research table. The Krieg Hazmat is a skin, so the gas-masked trooper comes off the bench only when you craft a plain hazmat suit from its own blueprint and choose the look. Bench, bill and bottleneck stay the hazmat's, and the bottleneck is still four tarps that no bench can make.
The rest of the pack works the same way. The Krieg Shotgun is crafted as a pump shotgun and the chainsword as a chainsaw, so the full Death Korps outfit asks for three ordinary blueprints first. Skip one and the matching Krieg piece never shows up in your crafting menu. Learn them in the order your fights need them and let the look follow.
